Autumn Song Photography is a North Carolina area father-daughter team that specializes in intimate affairs of the heart, from a baby's first breath to the day they walk down the aisle and everything in between. We believe that simple is alluring...we believe real is priceless...and we believe pure is beautiful. More importantly, we believe in the power of candid and unguarded moments. We capture life as it happens.
That being said, we won't be asking you to do anything that doesn't come from your own heart. All we ask is for real emotion and we'll make sure that our photographs are as charming and unique as you are.
Nestled just between Greensboro and Charlotte, we cover events in Winston Salem, High Point, Raleigh, Charlotte, Charleston, Wilmington--and well, anywhere you ask us to go!
Thanks for checking us out, we hope you enjoy your visit. Oh and while you’re here, leave us a comment, we’d love to hear from you.

G uys!! It is HOT in North Carolina! While weddings have been keeping us busy the past several weekends, we have had very few requests for engagement photos and bridals. I suppose most are hoping for a break in the heat wave...
But not brave Lindsey! We just finished up their engagement session out at Adaumont Farm in Trinity, NC. And despite the heat (and maybe because of the heat), we had so much fun. I believe this day will go down in the books as one that the two of them will remember forever--the smell of the grass and the heat rising up from it...the way the sweat rolled down Chris's face and the way Lindsey brushed his hair back with the hopes of cooling him off, those are all things that aren't easily forgotten. I, for one, am convinced that the things we remember most in life are the not-so-perfect...less than ideal moments in time...they keep life interesting.
Lindsey and Chris ....we had so much fun with you guys and can't wait until your wedding day. And while trying to navigate around the heat of the day was an adventure, we'll be praying for cooler weather! |

NC Wedding Photography { Amy and Penn }
|

Amy and Penn were married this past weekend. We had so much fun getting to know them and their families this past year....
On the day of the wedding, poor Penn came down with quite a virus. What spoke to me the most about these two was that Amy's primary concern all day was not how perfect her wedding day was going to be, but it was the health and comfort of her husband-to-be. And at the reception...she never left his side. And Penn--he was a champ. He held it together ALL day, convincing Amy he was just fine. I don't think anyone would have ever known that he was so sick! I'd say they make a great team...
Congratulations guys...enjoy Italy...eat lots of pasta!

S he has been expressive from the start. She was early to smile...early to communicate with her body language and early to talk. One of the funniest things about her...she uses her eyes to talk more than just about any child I've met. She reminds me so much of her mommy...
Here is what I got from her the other week. These were all done in less than thirty seconds. I look at them several times a day and just smile. And then I fight the urge to get in the car and drive to Concord for a quick fix of my favorite girls. Out of all the faces I've seen and photographed, no one can bring such a quick, goofy smile to my face.
So here's where we can have a little fun...
Lindsey and I have had a good time coming up with captions for this series of Adalei, but we thought it would be fun to see what you guys came up with. So go ahead, caption away--you can do it in the "comment" box or on our Facebook page. |
