Autumn Song Photography is a North Carolina area father-daughter team that specializes in intimate affairs of the heart, from a baby's first breath to the day they walk down the aisle and everything in between. We believe that simple is alluring...we believe real is priceless...and we believe pure is beautiful. More importantly, we believe in the power of candid and unguarded moments. We capture life as it happens.
That being said, we won't be asking you to do anything that doesn't come from your own heart. All we ask is for real emotion and we'll make sure that our photographs are as charming and unique as you are.
Nestled just between Greensboro and Charlotte, we cover events in Winston Salem, High Point, Raleigh, Charlotte, Charleston, Wilmington--and well, anywhere you ask us to go!
Thanks for checking us out, we hope you enjoy your visit. Oh and while you’re here, leave us a comment, we’d love to hear from you.

NC wedding Photography {Jessie and Trey}
|

W e have now had the pleasure of doing not just one but TWO Conner weddings. Last year we photographed the Jamie and Troy's precious wedding day and just last week we had the pleasure of photographing Jessie and Trey.
We had so much fun with Jessie and Trey. They are just about as calm and laid back as a couple can get. And they rank as probably one of the sweetest gifts to his bride and gifts to her groom as we've seen. He gave her his great aunt's diamond ring--the same diamond that his mother wore. She gave him a rifle that looks like a work of art. In fact, word is...its considered too nice to shoot.
Congratulations Jessie and Trey. Thank you so much for allowing us into your day! |

| “A real cowboy ain’t the one that gets on a bull to show off to a bunch of girls a real cowboy is the man that is out in the snow at 10 below caring for his cows before anything else.” I guess John Everhart is as close to real cowboy as anyone this side of the Mississippi. I first met John about thirty years ago. My first impression was, I don’t want to make this man mad. As the years passed I saw him a little differently. Beneath all the gruffness lies a gentle man that works as hard as anyone I’ve ever known, a man who lets his yeses be yes and his noes be no. He expects a lot out of people because he gives a lot. I’m proud to call John a friend. |

NC wedding Photography {Anna and Cole}
|

D ad and I had the pleasure of photographing Anna and Cole's wedding last weekend at Childress Vineyards in Lexington, NC. But first, let me tell you how we met Anna and her mom, Cindy.
The doorbell rang several months back...in walked Anna and Cindy. We all sat down and began to talk wedding photography. Cindy asked a few questions...we told her a little about how we work. Within minutes, she was ready to book. In fact, she pulled out her checkbook before she even read our contract. She said simply, "I can't explain it--but I trust you guys. Y'all are the best."
I can't tell you what that one little statement said to us. What an honor and privilege to be entrusted with their daughter's wedding day!
Anna and Cole's wedding day buzzed with excitement...family, friends...friends of friends....all there to witness their marriage ceremony. I honestly did not know that the vineyard could contain so many people. It was beautiful to see and a blast to photograph.
Congratulations Anna and Cole...and thank you so much for trusting us with one of the most precious days of your lives. |

B efore we get to Anna and Coles beautiful vineyard wedding, I wanted to share some of her bridal portraits with you all. Anna is such a beautiful girl and was incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. It really made for a fun day at Childress Vineyards. |

M y collection of faces is really starting to grow. It’s been so much fun meeting and photographing new people. I’ve also photographed a few folks that are really near and dear to me as well. I appreciate the feedback from everyone that’s stopped me on the street or messaged me through facebook, email, or through the website. My goal is to photograph every face that I find interesting.
There’s so much I could tell you about this face, in fact there’s probably not enough time left in my life to properly say what she means to me. She’s my friend, my running buddy, and most precious of all, my daughter. I thank the Lord for her every day and cherish every minute we spend together. She is beautiful on the inside and on the outside. One of the things I love most about her is, she is very comfortable in her on skin. In fact the appealing thing about these photos of her is that she is wearing no make-up at all, except for a little on her lashes. |
